Gaerne's G-Midland boots are designed for over long trips and off-road adventures, making them the ideal adventure boot for seasoned travellers. The boot is constructed with a full-grain waterproof leather upper along with a layer of suede on the inside to protect the leg from heat. The closure system consists of two alloy adjustable and interchangeable buckles along with a Velcro strip at the top allowing for adjustment of the closure adapting the boot to the shape of your calf perfectly. A Gore-Tex membrane lining on the inside is waterproof and provides excellent breathability. The boot has a removable insole and an anti-slip rubber sole for great grip.

What is Gore-Tex?

Gore-Tex is a waterproof, breathable fabric membrane. Invented in 1969, Gore-Tex can repel liquid water while allowing water vapour to pass through and is designed to be a lightweight, waterproof fabric for all-weather use. The Gore-Tex membrane contains pores smaller than a water droplet, but larger than a water vapour molecule. So, rain can’t get in, but sweat can get out.
